FAQs

What is Live Wedding Painting?

It’s exactly what it sounds like! It’s a form of entertainment for you and your guests. I set up my easel at the venue and capture a beautiful moment — like your first kiss, a dip in the aisle, first dance — as it unfolds. Guests can watch as the artwork comes to life during the celebration.

How does the process work?

Before the big day, I work with you to choose a moment you'd like captured. On the day of the wedding, I arrive early to set up and begin painting as guests arrive. I continue working throughout the event to add in the moment you chose. Afterward, I add finishing touches in my studio, and the final piece is ready within a few weeks.

How long does it take to complete the painting?

I begin the painting at the event, but depending on the complexity, I may need additional studio time afterward. Typically, the completed artwork is ready within 2-4 weeks after the wedding.

What size are the paintings, and what medium do you use?

My standard painting sizes range from 16x20 inches to 24x36 inches. I work with high quality acrylic on canvas, as these provide vibrant colors and a lasting finish.

Can guests interact with you while you paint?

Absolutely! I love talking with guests and sharing details about the painting process. It adds to the interactive experience and often leads to wonderful conversations about art.

What if I want a painting, but not live at the event?

If live painting doesn’t suit your plans, I also offer custom wedding paintings created from photos. Simply send me images from your wedding, and I’ll create a beautiful piece in my studio that captures your special day.
